Rotimi Ayodele Gbadeyan is a Professor in the Department of Marketing and the current Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He has over 25 years of experience in university teaching, research, and administration. He has held various leadership roles in reputable universities across Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone. He served as the Pioneer Head of the Department of Marketing from 2013 to 2015 and again from 2019 to 2022.

His research interests include General Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Health Marketing, Quantitative Techniques, Entrepreneurship, and General Management. Prof. Gbadeyan has 106 publications listed on his Google Scholar page. He has supervised approximately 25 M.Sc. dissertations, 13 Ph.D. dissertations, and 5 ongoing Ph.D. theses. He is an external examiner for several universities in Nigeria, Ghana, and Sierra Leone.

Prof. Gbadeyan is a professional member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, the Ghana Professional Network (Worldwide), Advertising & Marketing Industry Professionals, the Harvard Business Review Discussion Group, Education in Developing Countries, and the Writers and Authors Group, among others. He is happily married to Mrs. Grace A. Gbadeyan and is blessed with children.
